EEK! the FOB concert last tuesday was freakin amazing!! honestly, the best night of mi life, hands down!! soooooooo amazing. so, this is mi report. (btw, its frm mi xanga)

. are you kidding?! that fob concert was the best!! mi frends (susie, mackenzie, and kayla) were so pumped for this day, we were SHAKING SO BAD! well, at least i was. i was literally abt to vomit. anways, the concert was on tuesday (now officially mi fav day... haha) at 7:00. mackenzie, her triplets, n her dad picked me up at around 5:30-ish. [i was pissed at them cuz they were so late. we were supposed to leave around 4:30-ish, but noooooooo, ther like "it's too early.."] but, it was alrite cuz mackenzie's sis is mi frend, n her bro's cute, the car ride was relaxing. the whole time, i was tellin mackenzie how awesome cobra starship was (thnx to olivia... :P) and tellin her to download ther songs. soon, it was like 6:30, n im like "wtf?! we're gonna be late!!!" i was so nervous!! im a nerd- i HAVE to be at places at least 1 hour earlier. but mackenzie's like "chill, we're not gonna miss anything" she was rite- we arrived in time. i got to wachovia spectrum, n i saw susie n kayla, n screamed so loud, cuz i havent seen them since forever. we're all huggin each other, when it hit me- the freakin concert!! so we went inside, n just sat in our seats. we didnt buy the merch yet cuz we were scared the show was gonna start. abt 10 minutes before the show, some guy named Doug came n did a few songs. mi frends n i were so confused, cuz he played a bring it, dance,dance, n but its better if u do. but i thought he was freakin awesome. he kinda mixed up the songs a lot tho. then, the real party started!!

first up was um, er, rite! cute is what we aim for.

 i dont really know ther songs, so i didnt remember wat songs they played. all i know is that they did risque and curse of curves. omgosh, they were sooooo good! i was really impressed! the singer (idk his name...which is sad) had all these cool "dance" moves, and the guitarist n bassist were jumpin all over the place, and they were just really energetic, ... even tho not many ppl knew them. i think ther super talented- ther def a band that u should listen to. anyways, while they were restin n stuff, the singer kinda flipped off the bassist. then the bassist's like "wat!?" then, the singer's like "haha, just kiddin" n the audience is like "???! EH?!" that was me...btw, the singer's hair is freakin cool! he has like silky brown/blonde hair. mi frends were like, "i want ittt!" yea, then after abt 5 songs, they were bye-bye.

i was superrrrrrrrrrrr excited to see them!!! i was jumpin up n down, screamin like a maniac like i did w/ fob. i love pwt's as much as fob, so i was dead when i saw them. tom is the coolest, shortest, hottest, singer ever! haha, ppl complain abt his nose, but i say "what the hell. his voice rocks!" they were so awesome! omgosh, they sound SUPER GOOD live!!! they sound EXACTLY the same as they do in ther CD's.

rite after pwt's act ended, mi frends n i went to the b-room, n decided to get the merch. boy, was the line so long! by the time we were 1/4 to getting our clothes, gch was singin cupid chokehold, the first song. i bought this blck fob t-shirt where fob is shown as the young wild things in cartoon w/ the tours on the back. it was $25, but worth every cent. i luv it. anyways, back to gch. u kno, ther actually pretty good. i thought theyd be kinda sucky, but nope. all the bands r freakin awesome. after like 3 songs, travis starts talkin abt parents. ok, rite in the middle of the concert, he's saying "so, where are the parents tonite? cmon, raise ur hands, n don't be embrrsed. tonite, u guys r gonna fuckin have fun n enjoy urselfs" he was talkin all this crap, but it was advise-crap, so it made an impact on the kids who came w/ parents. omg, mi frend's dad was sooooo embrssing. he was all excited n stuff. then, when travis came down the stage n started walkin up the aisles, we were SO CLOSE TO HIM!! like, if i walked down the stairs (which wasnt pretty far) i couldve shaken hands w/ him!! but ther were too many ppl, n we were like "i dont wanna get trampled" so we just sat bac. throughtout ther performance, ther was this guy who looked so much like pat playin the piano, that fr the entire act, mi frends n i thought it was pat, so our eyes were glued to him. but, when clothes off came, the REAL pat comes out singin w/ his fan-frickin-tastic voice, we were screamin our heads off b/c we were tricked! it was hilarious!!! *sigh* i felt like such a moron....

u could not believe the noise before the show. on the tv thingy, ther was pete in a comic pic doing stuff in an animation, its hard to describe, but it was kinda like an opening thing. then, fob comes out w/ ther guitar n stuff!! first thing that goes thro my head- holy shit pete is shorttttt! haha, i knew how short he was, but man, hes (as mackenzie would say) petite. im still shocked, but i luv fob, so that doesnt matter. the first song was sugar, but it was funny, cuz fob started playin sugar, then switched to another song, then switched bac. so when the lyrics were startin, i was gonna sing, then since they kept switchin, mi voice just trailed off. it was hilarious!!

this is EXACTLY like olivia's, but i guess all the concert song orders r the same, or else itd be too confusing to memorize. in grand theft autumn, ( i think) tom came out n sang a few lyrics! i was sooo happy cuz i thought that would be the last time i saw him!! i think he looked in mi direction at least 6 times, which just totally made mi heart melt to the ground. i couldnt stop lookin at him.... *drool*

 the only thing i was pissed abt was that they didnt play all the songs frm the CD!! esp bang the doldrums. thats mi FAV song, but nooooooooo, they didnt play it. mi fav part of the fob show was this ain't a scene. god, i was dreadin that song b/c all the fake ppl were gonna sing along, but it was so awesome. like everytime they sed "goddamn arms race" the board/tv flashed GOD DAMN ARMS RACE in huge black bolded letters, n fire erupted frm behind andy, n even i felt it!! it just sent adredaline into mi blood- i felt like i was high.

when fob played the killers, i thought that was so random. but i was like "hell, i don't care how long this show is- i hope it goes until midnite" before each song, pete would intro it n talk abt some things. ther was somthng he sed that cracked me up tho. before me n u, he made the mosh pit take a huge step bac so ther wont be anymore accidents. idk why, but i CRACKED UP! it was just funny.... pete wore a two diff shoes- 1 big, black combact shoe, n the other a regular converse. he looked pretty hot w/ his sexy black hair. but pat was mi main eye-candy. NO ONE is better than patttttt!! of course, joe's 'fro just killed me. whenever he was bangin his head, i thought his hair was gonna fall off! it was like "swosh, swosh!" [[: towards the end, andy took off his shirt, n im like "whoa! look at those guns!" he's super buffed. guess all drumers are. hmm, i wonder how spencer looks topless....

anyways, back to the show. o yea, when fob played golden, it was acoustic, not piano, which i was dissapointed in. i wanted to listen to it as the original, but acoustic wasnt all that bad. it actually put a cool twist to it. another acoustic song, hmm, ugh, i cant remember.... it was prob nobody puts baby in the corner b/c that was the song after golden. holy shit did they sound good. i was speechless. well, not really- i was singing along.

overrall, im glad that this was mi first fob concert. i cant BELIEVE wat i was missin out on. god, how ignorant i was.

another thing that pissed me off- the fudgin lights! they were so annoying as hell! i mean why?! b/c of the lites, i couldnt take any proper pics, or record stuff. i was mad!!!!!!!!!! if i hadnt gotten good seats, i wouldve scream mi head off. but thats just me.

then, like 15 secs before the end of saturday, all this green, blue, n yellow confettis shoots out!!! mi frends n i r screaming "this is fob confetti!!" so obviously, we were all jumpin in the air tryin to catch a few. i think i still have it. haha. then, andy threw away 4 drumsticks!!! i was lookin forward to that the WHOLE ENITRE FREAKIN CONCERT!! but no duh, i didnt get one. why cant he throw some to the right of the stage?! then maybe, just MAYBE, id get a chance. w/e joe, i get it- u hate us. :P
